Killing time

Okay so the old saying "No news is good news" is sooo not true. One more day of waiting to hear if our offer has been accepted just might kill me. Today is the day...maybe. I say that because if I convince myself that we'll get our answer today and we don't I might have a mental breakdown. According to Bank of America they will have a response to our purchase agreement 10 (business) days after the BPO is done. That's today. So....stay tuned.

In the mean time I have been keeping myself busy by knitting. It's really the only one of my hobbies that isn't packed in a box in the garage. I've been wanting to tackle socks for a while so I finally did it. They aren't nearly as complicated as I thought they would be. So, in the past month I have knitted about five pairs. The first pair went to my mother-in-law for her birthday. Pair two went to my step dad for his birthday. Pair three to a friend at work about to have a baby and pairs four and five are for my 8 year old daughter and 10 year old sister. I just started a pair for my father-in-law for Christmas. These will take me awhile. He's 6'6" and wears a size 13 shoe! At least I was smart enough to use a worsted weight yarn! They are going to be cute. I picked out some very nice manly colors (I probably shouldn't use the word cute!); chocolate brown, avocado green and a deep red. I think I'll do stripes. Check back in a few days and I'll be sure to post some pictures!
