Happy Black Friday!

Well I didn't go OUT shopping this morning at 3am but I have to admit that I was a little envious when I read all the updates on my FB page from everyone standing outside in long lines. Sounds crazy but it wouldn't have been the same without Ali.  She went with her dad to Colorado for Thanksgiving.

Not that I didn't shop.  I managed to spend a ridiculous amount of money from the comfort of my couch.  I finally bought the camera I've been wanting for a long time.  A Canon Rebel 15.1 megpix digital slr.  I can't wait until it comes!

Movin' On

So it appears we've done something very naughty.  We've been seeing another realtor behind our realtor's back!  While we've been waiting to see if our offer has been accepted I've wanted to continue looking at houses.  Our realtor says she's happy to show us other properties but a lot of times she's busy or already has an appointment with another client.  That got old in a hurry so I called another realtor and he has been more then happy to show us listings.  Well we found one we really like and went to put in an offer with Pete our "secret" realtor.  When I signed the paperwork for the purchase agreement he wanted us to sign an "exclusive right to represent"  contract.  I told him I wouldn't but it made me wonder if we had signed one with Sue.  I went through the purchase agreement of the first offer and sure enough...there it was, a contract signed by us giving exclusive rights to represent us through December.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?  How on earth did we get ourselves into this?  Now, we've had to put things on hold with Pete while we try to end our relationship with Sue.  I know, dramatic isn't it?  


So about the other house....It's really cute.  It's a yellow two story home on 10 acres.  It has a big front porch and the house sits on top of a hill.  The views from every room are amazing.  Rolling hills for miles and miles.  It has four bedrooms on the second floor and main floor laundry.  One of the best features that the other house doesn't have is big poll barn. It has concrete floors and it's heated.  It will be big enough for a couple of horse stalls, a large pen for some goats, a chicken coop and the  other half for a workshop.  Now we just have to get them to take our ridiculously low offer.......
